Terms & Conditions

Last updated 16 July 2026 · operated by Treezy Technologies Inc.

These terms govern your use of strikeablock.com (the “Site”) and its offerings: free in-browser mining, and free login-gated “Genesis Strikes” on real hardware during our beta. By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. What Strike a Block is (and isn't)

Strike a Block is a novelty and educational service. It lets you create a “genesis block”, a data record carrying a short message (“inscription”) whose fingerprint meets a proof-of-work target, the same mechanism that secures Bitcoin.

2. Free in-browser mining

The free miner runs entirely in your web browser, on your own device, at a low “toy” difficulty. Nothing is submitted to us, queued, or stored. It's provided for learning and fun, with no warranty and no guarantee of any particular result.

3. Genesis Strikes (free beta, sign-in required)

A Genesis Strike is a made-to-order digital item mined on our own hardware. During the beta it is free. Because it uses real hardware, you sign in with Google and may create up to 10 strikes per account. You provide an inscription, and we mine a real block at Bitcoin's original genesis difficulty and publish it to the public vault.

4. Your inscription: content rules

You are responsible for the text you submit. You must not submit anything that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, is hateful, harassing, obscene, deceptive, or that contains private or sensitive personal information about anyone.

Because Genesis Strike inscriptions are published publicly, do not include anything you wouldn't want to be permanently and publicly visible. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, and display your inscription and its block on the Site. We may refuse, remove, or decline to publish any inscription at our discretion, and will refund a paid strike we decline to publish.

5. Payments

Genesis Strikes are free during the beta. No payment is taken and no card data is handled. If we introduce paid strikes in future, payments would be processed by Stripe (we'd never receive or store your full card details), the price shown before you pay, and refund terms stated at that time.

6. Availability

The Site and the mining hardware are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including the vault, without notice.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all blocks are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any block will have any particular value or use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Treezy Technologies Inc.'s total liability arising out of or relating to the Site or a Genesis Strike will not exceed the amount you paid us for the strike in question (or USD $1 if you paid nothing).

8. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Site: no attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse the payment flow fraudulently, or use automated means to place large volumes of orders. We may block access or cancel orders that appear fraudulent or abusive.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions about these terms or a purchase: hello@strikeablock.com.
