How it works

Three steps, one of them ours.

Pick the block.

Open any public block in the vault, or strike a new one with your own inscription first. On the block's page, press Order the coin.

Check out with Stripe.

Choose a color, give a US shipping address, pay $39. No account needed. The checkout carries the block's id, so the coin is tied to that exact plate.

We print it and write the chip.

Your coin is printed to order in the USA and its NFC chip is programmed with the block's page. It ships within about ten business days, tracking number by email.

Straight answers

Questions people ask.

Is this a cryptocurrency coin?

No. It is a physical object, printed plastic and a small radio chip. The block it points to is a standalone proof-of-work artifact, not part of Bitcoin or any public chain, and has no monetary value. This is a keepsake, like an engraving you can tap.

Can I order a coin for a block I didn't strike?

Yes. Every public block in the vault can be ordered from its own page. Blocks are anonymous, so nothing about the original requester travels with the coin.

What if it arrives damaged or won't tap?

Reply to your order email and we print another one, no charge. Coins are made to order, so we don't take returns otherwise; see the terms.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not yet. Checkout only accepts US addresses for now. If you want one abroad, write to hello@strikeablock.com and we will let you know when that opens.
